At OBRIENBIKES my aim is to deliver the highest level of service for a reasonable price. With regular servicing, your bike will be safer and easier to ride...and will cost less to maintain in the long run.
I have experience of servicing and repairing all types of bikes, including e-bikes...and even mobility scooters.
I will tailor servicing and repairs to suit your requirements and budget...or even show you how to do it yourself for no charge if it's a simple job. I can source and fit parts for you from reputable suppliers...or I can show you where you can source them yourself and I will fit them.
...and, if it's something I can't sort for you, I will advise on the best course of action to get you fixed and back on the road.
STANDARD SERVICE & CLEAN (£45*/EBIKE £55*)
• Clean
• Check & adjust brakes, gears, bearings
• Check drivetrain: chain, cassette, chainrings
• Check tyres/pressures
• Check bolt torque settings
• Lubricate components
• Full safety check
FULL SERVICE & DEEP CLEAN (£80*)
As above, plus:
• Deep clean, inc. key components (e.g. chain/cassette) cleaned with the proprietary OBRIEN ULTRASOUND DEEP CLEANING SYSTEM (TM) for that extra sparkle
• Headset checked & adjusted
• Wheels trued & spokes tensioned
• Wheels checked for damage & wear, bearings checked & adjusted
• Bottom bracket checked & adjusted
ADVANCED SERVICE
(£120*)
As above, plus:
• Full strip down to frame & forks & rebuild
• Replace gear & brake cables &/or bleed brakes
• Refurbish/replace handle bar tape/grips if required

Below is a list of typical services I can provide, along with guide prices (excluding parts). The list isn't exhaustive, so please contact me for a quote if there's anything else you need doing.

COLLECTION & DELIVERY
You can bring your bike to me in Knutsford (see CONTACT page), or I can come and collect from you within the WA16 post code area at a charge of £7.50 per trip.
If required, I can carry out some types of work at your premises (or at the roadside in an emergency!) locally for an additional call out fee of £10.
Call me for an appointment and I will assess what work is required and give you a fixed cost, including any parts required. I can usually carry out the work straightaway, or you can book it in for fixing at a convenient time for you, once I have the parts required if they aren't immediately available.
